y memory to you is just a face
what to the mind haunts
and plays.
Your heart where a hunters fire,
smothered in snow
the sky seems more deserted
than the earth below.
In the amber dawn
and from a oaken blackshaped crown
death, looks omnipresent down.
I know all beauty must ail and die,
the lowest ebb, is the turn of the tide.
Inhale the world with all consuming breath,
in resistance with this life,
in balance with this death!
When death is a gate,
when death was your fate,
are you stranded in an ocean
as deep as my mind,
or where you taken, to be bound to me,
bound like the uncertainly to the blind?
No one can stop themself from fading away,
can you see the beauty in decay?
Alike the moth,
we circle a strange-familiar goal
beyond our control,
and die in reasons, in seasons,
and for a heart is dead what slumbers, like
for a soldier, the defeated are just numbers!
No one can stop themself from fading away!
What is lifes greatest illusion?
A place, a space, innocence and confusion!
Death has reared himself a throne
In the heart of the Wanderer
who walk alone
Where no one will find his grave

An absolutely amazing album that reaches you to the bottom of the abyss. Gaia takes you by the hand, tells you that you're not alone in this, the pain is over, the misunderstanding of your pain is over and accompanied by keyboards, violins, acoustic guitars, cello and amazing vocals, she pulls you out of the disgusting mire of your mind and together you embark on a journey of melancholy, despondency, hope, pessimism and the seasons. tenebriscaedes

German Melodic Doom / Death Metal. Started with their latestest & slowly but surely got hooked! This is along the lines of Swallow the Sun or Insomnium or Enshine but it is more too & they have their own brand of melancholic agression. Highly recommended!!! bmurator

NONE a opéré un virage dans Where Life Should Be et ça se confirme davantage dans Damp Chill of Life. Insoutenable... Jordan Vauvert
